I have long enjoyed doing cooking demonstrations, presentations, and classes on wild edibles and healthy plant-based meals.  I have frequently coached people on becoming vegetarian or vegan or gluten free while maintaining high nutrient density and flavor in their meals. My campfire recipes have been featured on the Food Network’s Best of Family Adventures.

My foray into healthful, plant-based cooking classes and wellness coaching began many years ago as an avocation.  I became a vegetarian for philosophical reasons in 1976, and have had an avid interest in studying nutrition, clean eating, wild foods foraging, and flavor-filled recipe development ever since. Currently a vegan, over the years I have alternated between eating vegetarian, vegan, or “pescetarian” at times. I have been completely gluten-free since a 2012 realization that I was celiac.

I am now in the process of developing my own flavorful, gluten-free herb and spice blends, and am available for classes, presentations, and individual coaching sessions.
